1. Acceptance
By using Aidan, a user accepts these terms. A user who does not agree should not use the service or connect third-party accounts.
2. The service
Aidan is a personal AI assistant for conversation, task organization, user-context workflows, and approved actions. Some features are in early access and may change.
3. Accounts and security
Users are responsible for accurate account information, device security, and timely revocation of access if compromise is suspected. Access must not be shared in a way that violates law or another person's rights.
4. Acceptable use
Aidan must not be used for illegal activity, malicious access, deception, privacy violations, malware distribution, or circumvention of third-party service restrictions.
5. AI output and user decisions
AI output can be inaccurate. Users should verify important decisions, especially legal, medical, financial, and security-related matters. Aidan displays or requests confirmation for sensitive actions where supported by the relevant feature.
6. Third-party services
Integrations, including Google Calendar, are also governed by the provider's terms. Users may disconnect an integration at any time. Aidan does not control the availability of external services.
7. Content and intellectual property
Users retain rights to the content they provide and grant Aidan a limited right to process it only to deliver the selected services. Aidan's name, interface, and software components are protected by applicable law.
8. Availability and liability
The service is provided as currently available. We work toward reliable and secure operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to direct and foreseeable loss.
9. Suspension
Access may be limited to protect users or infrastructure, comply with law, or stop a material violation of these terms.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated as Aidan develops. Material changes will be published on this page before taking effect when reasonably possible.
